Lore & Background

Glukhar represents the corporate arm of the conflict in Tarkov, standing apart from the local warlords and rogue factions. He maintains communication with field operatives through secure channels, providing critical updates on enemy movements and extraction protocols. His involvement suggests that USEC has significant stakes in whatever resources or secrets lie within the quarantined city.

His relationship with other key figures like Prapor is professional but distant, defined by the necessity of operating in a shared hostile environment. Glukhar's intelligence often reveals the darker machinations of groups like Jaeger, forcing contractors to make difficult choices about loyalty and survival. He remains a constant presence on the airwaves, ensuring that USEC objectives are met regardless of the cost.

In Their Own Story

Static crackles through the headset before cutting out abruptly. Glukhar's voice emerges, calm amidst the chaos of gunfire echoing outside. 'Contractor, status report. We have eyes on your position.' He adjusts his glasses, staring at a wall of monitors displaying thermal feeds of the burning city. A red marker blinks on the map near the train station.

'Extraction window closes in ten minutes,' he states without looking up from the console. There is no emotion in his tone, only the cold calculation of assets and liabilities. He types a command into the terminal, overriding a local frequency to clear the path ahead. 'Move now. The city does not wait for anyone.'

Reader's Guide

Glukhar serves as the primary commanding officer for the USEC private military company operations within the Tarkov region. Unlike field operatives, he remains behind a secure command post, coordinating missions through encrypted radio channels. His role is less about direct combat and more focused on logistics, intelligence gathering, and strategic oversight of PMC contractors.

He acts as a crucial liaison for players aligned with USEC interests, providing objectives that often intersect with the broader conflict involving BEAR forces and local warlords. Glukhar's tasks frequently require deep infiltration into dangerous zones to retrieve data or eliminate high-value targets associated with rival factions like Jaeger. His authority stems from his position within the corporate structure of USEC, granting him access to resources unavailable to standard mercenaries.

Throughout the unfolding narrative, Glukhar represents the organized military-industrial complex attempting to maintain control over Tarkov's chaos. While he offers support and extraction protocols, his loyalty lies strictly with USEC objectives rather than the safety of individual contractors. His presence underscores the corporate nature of the war being fought in the city.
